Full-Hookup Camping in Florida

Full-hookup sites — water, electric, and sewer at the pad — are overwhelmingly a private-sector product in Florida. Of the 202 listings, the vast majority are private RV resorts: the Encore, Thousand Trails, and KOA networks cover the state, and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is the best-known premium operation. Corporate-branded parks like Camp Margaritaville RV Resort in Auburndale and Panama City Beach sit at the top of the private market.

State-park full hookups are the exception, not the rule. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Henderson Beach State Park, and Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park are among the handful of state parks that offer sewer at the site rather than at a shared dump station; their RV loops book 11 months ahead and fill within minutes. Expect private-resort rates of $60–$150 per night (higher in the Keys and on Gulf beaches), compared to $30–$50 at the rare full-hookup state-park loop. In either segment, peak season runs November through April, and reservation lead time is the limiting factor more often than price.
